I have discovered that these little jars are ideal for storing the sterling silver balls I craft from fine silver wire. To sort them by size, I drill holes in the bottom of each jar with different drill bits. Then, I stack the jars with the largest-holed one on top, and the smallest-holed one on the bottom. The top jar is filled with silver balls, and I screw on the lid tightly before shaking the jar. This causes the balls to drop into the holes and be sorted accordingly.
